Siem Reap

A trip to Siem Reap, accomodation cheap and easy to find.
Guesthouses are usually near to town centre, and can be booked
online.
Usually prices are quoted in USD. Bring in USD, its convenient
and accepted everywhere.
In return, money changed to you will be in Dongs.
To save time, after touching down, we headed on to Tonle Sap,
to see how living along this lake was like, to see boys on floating tubs.
To snap a photo of them, you have to be careful, they will come near
your boat and ask for money.

As you can see for yourself, living conditions is not really good, but they look happy to me.

Carefree, without a worry. Amongst all these, you see Japanese sponsored
schools and others amongst their meagre house along the lake.

You have to go early to Angkor Wat and buy a pass to enter, so we went
very early in the morning to watch sunrise,,,,
Passes are for 1 day or 3 days...to us, one day was good enough.......

The famous and most photographed...............with the reflection.

Inside, with some scenes from ...Raiders of the Lost Ark......

Another view,..............

This is the view on the way, walking out.............

The above shows the favorite drawings on most walls.............superb..

See how ruined the place is???

Another place to see..............see the diffrenet style? Colour is brownish...
can't remember the name.

See the steepness of the wats...

A vist to the War musuem,

Another to the silk factory and handicrafts centre, ...........

Lastly , worked around town to do some light shopping..........
